DeCLASSified Cymru are looking for 2 working‑class creatives based in Melbourne to take part in a two‑day Working‑Class Creative Development Conference, delivered at RMIT University from 10 am - 4 pm on the 7th and 8th November 2026.

We’re looking for Melbourne‑based creatives who identify as working‑class and who have a project, idea, or piece of work they want to develop independently during the conference. This opportunity is open to creatives from any discipline, but please note that the development time will be desk‑based, and you’ll need to bring and use your own equipment.

Successful applicants will receive a $550 AUD bursary to support their time, participation and access needs across the two conference days.

Across the two days, we will spend time sharing experiences, discussing class and creative progression, and connecting with visiting creatives from Wales and Scotland. You will also have time to work independently on your own creative practice or project.

Applications close on 11th September 2026.
